baby food race

I met my goal, which was to break 28:00 minutes, but it didn't come easy. My running nemesis, the warm humid day, made it difficult the whole way. Legs felt good throughout, but I never caught a second wind in the muggy air. First mile was 8:36, second mile 8:58, and there was no 3rd mile marker. Total time was 27:41 (8:56 ppm). This was a modern day P.R. for me so I am satisfied. Also, finished 2nd in my age group (out of 3).

27:41? You certainly have your work cut out for you. You'd get smoked in Cadillac at that pace. Maybe it is best you sit out this year's Labor Day race and train for next year, or better yet just hang it up. I wouldn't want you to be "prairie-doggin" in front of the home crowd anyways.

No one speaks to my athletes that way, CaddleTracks7. I demand that you come forth immediately.

Perhaps you know me better by a different handle. Many on the 5k circuit refer to me simply as "Tiger".
