Coast Guard Festival 10k
Ran the 10k in the Coast Guard Festival yesterday for the 2nd straight year. Goal was to beat last year's time. The course has been changed, but this year's course is more difficult in my opinion because of additional hills. It was sunny and hot and turned out to be the most grueling run in recent memory. Finished in 1:01:37, bettering last year's time by about 3 minutes. My ppm was 9:58.
Took today off and just walked 2 miles to loosen up.

Great job Dad! It says something that only 5 guys your age even attempted the 10k in a race that big ... You must be crazier than we think! Seriously ... you did a great job and I'm proud of you!
