Hershey Hills

Went out tonight to do the Hershey Hills just prior to 7 p.m.  It was really hot at first, about 82 degrees, but as time passed it seemed to get cooler.  I ended up running 6 miles total.  I ran just over a mile for warm up (9:30 pace) and then did 4 hills.  My uphill times were 4:16, 4:23, 4:30, and 4:17.  I ran another mile or so cool down.  Total miles was 6, total time 57:02.  I stopped my watch when I took drink breaks after each hill -- approx. 15 seconds or so, so the 57:02 is total time running, the work-out took a little longer than that.  I also got blisters on the inside arch of my right foot.  I got blisters last year when I did the "hill" work-out too.  There must be something that I do when running hills that causes the blisters, but I don't know what it is.

I felt pretty good the whole time.  The hills were pretty bad when it was hot, but by the last one it had cooled down and my time was better.  The heat really makes the work-out much harder.
