Cornapalooza 10K
I had a really good race today. It was nice and cool (approx. 70 degrees) and there was a light rain, so that really helped. The race was very well done, and had water at every mile. I really had a good time doing the race.
My time was 56:03. My splits were 8:58, 9:11, 9:23, 8:52, 8:56, and 8:46. I am especially proud of the fact that my times were FASTER for the last 3 miles of the race. I am building up a good base I think.
I got 2nd place in my age group, and I think I was maybe the 5th or 6th female overall.

This comment is for both of you. You guys did fantastic!! I sure wish I could have run with you. You both are getting into great shape, and I hope I can get back into decent shape when I get back from China. I am very proud of you both.
