My first 3
I ran 3 miles today for the first time. I upped the speed to 10:30 min per mile pace. It was pretty hard. In fact, I had to stop a couple times. Not sure how I'll do on Saturday given I could barely do 3 on the treadmill, but I figure the adrenaline will pull me through and I should at least finish the race. I also was having some serious pain in my right upper thigh/buttock, which I believe is probably a pulled muscle from my up-tempo half mile yesterday. I did some stretching and it feels a little better.

STICK WITH IT NOW!! I want you to run the Betsy River half-marathon with Chip and me October 4, and, of course, some other races this summer.
